- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I was a patient there for about 10 days. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE TO GO, ANYWHERE ELSE HAS TO BE BETTER THAN THIS INSTITUTION!!!!! (FEBRUARY 2015) Nursing care is the absolute pitts! There were only 3 nurses/aids who treated me that spoke English. You would ring the button for help, someone would come in to tour the light off saying they would be right back. A half hour later someone else would come in and say, again, they would be right back and maybe 20 minutes later someone would arrive to take care of you. The problem was, when they finally came to assist you, they DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH, it would take another 20 minutes or so for them to have translated into Haitian what you needed. It was a constant back and forth to the nurses station with a few words at a time, till they finally figured out what you needed! I had hip replacement surgery and I had always heard they had a great reputation, but that was MANY YEARS AGO, NOT NOW! I fell while in the rehab center in the middle of the night it took them 20 minutes to respond with me laying on the floor and both myself and the othe gentlemen who shared the room screaming for help at the top of our lungs. It took days for them to contact the Dr at which time I was readmitted to the hospital and I had to have the operation all over again. They were negligent and attempted to apply a cover up. Also this is a Catholic setting and you are forced with the imposition of the Catholic Faith. Even if I were Catholic at 71 not eating meat on Ash Wednesday and Friday's during Lent is not mandatory. I don't even want to start about the food, like everything else, it is atrocious!!!! I had ice bags on my hip and leg, they leaked and the aide came into my room and started yelling at me. She thought I was an Alzheimer's patient, she only stopped when I reacted with indignation and said ,"HOW DARE YOU TALK TO ME THAT WAY!" She stopped when she realized I was in control of my mind. I often heard them talk that way to the Alzheimer patients. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! iT DOES NOT DESERVE EVEN ONE STAR!September 17, 2017by Dominick Caval
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My mother was a patient. The staff was not fluent in the English . The service was not as professional as I would have expected. The outside is beautiful which was very deceiving. They did not regulate my mom's medicine properly ...gave her to much. The physical therapist were excellent.. they worked with her. She was released with no prior notification .....I walked in and was informed that night.....if you have to put your love ones in a rehab center....please visit ever night and truly ask questions.July 28, 2017by Patty P
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪They take great care of my grandmother who is currently here for a few weeks to try and get her back to a good enough weight. So far shes been eating again and much more alert than before. The staff are very nice and the place is well maintained.January 03, 2017by Michael Walker
